Pierrepont Productions, which works with many high profile producers and production executives, is headed up by veteran producer and director, Julia Jay Pierrepont III. Ms. Pierrepont has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry that has included extensive experience in corporate governance, financing, producing, directing, writing, content creation, multi-format content repurposing, account supervision, marketing, client relations, and PR, in motion pictures, television, and digital and online media. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Ithaca College and advanced studies at Kings College, University of London, Ms. Pierrepont studied film at L'Universite de Sorbonne in Paris with noted ‘New Wave’ director, Erich Rohmer, and at New York University Film School’s Certificate Program in New York City and studied digital media production and marketing at the American Film Institute's Advanced Technology Program in Los Angeles. Ms. Pierrepont began working professionally at Executive Productions, a commercial production company in NYC, and was responsible for writing, directing and producing TV commercials and documentaries, including: the Blue Cross Blue Shield national ad campaign, a "Just Say No to Drugs" PSA initiative, a National Foundation for the Arts PSA campaign, etc. Ms. Pierrepont also wrote, directed and produced the underground, anti-apartheid documentary, "Soweto’s Burning”, for which she was arrested and jailed for a time in South Africa. Ms. Pierrepont then joined Popular Arts Entertainment, an HBO affiliate in Los Angeles, as a TV development executive responsible for developing and writing feature film scripts and television programming, then served briefly as Vice President of Development for Pilgrimage Productions, a film and multimedia company, founded by noted Sci Fi author, Robert Scheckley (The Running Man, etc.) and Hollywood writer/producer Ron Shusett ("Alien", "Total Recall"). In 1992, as founder and CEO, Ms. Pierrepont launched two successful digital companies, Future Medex and eClinic.net. FM was created to develop high quality digital multimedia content and entertaining programs for the health and wellness market, and eClinic was the first consumer health and wellness site ever to be launched on-line. She successfully negotiated and sold both companies for a 10x ROI in under four years. Moving on to film producing and directing, Ms. Pierrepont’s early Producer and/or Director film credits include: producing and directing the fiction short, Making Mr. Right and producing the feature film Trafficking, directed by Joe Minion (writer of Martin Scorsese's After Hours, and Vampires' Kiss, starring Nicolas Cage), and producing “Ghosts Never Sleep”, starring Faye Dunaway, Tony Goldwyn and Sean Young; In 2000, Ms. Pierrepont moved up to her feature directing debut with the hit indie feature, “Lost In The Pershing Point Hotel”, starring John Ritter, Mary Lou Henner, and Michelle Phillips. To acknowledge her innovative directing techniques on “Lost In The Pershing Point Hotel”, Ms. Pierrepont was selected as the “Best New Director in America” at the prestigious Director’s View Film Festival in Connecticut, judged by Academy Award winners, Ron Howard, Meryl Streep, Paul Newman and Francis Ford Coppola. Ms. Pierrepont has co-financed/is co-producing numerous motion pictures, including: Viggo Mortensen’s WWII drama, “Good; “Bag Men”, starring Kevin Spacey, recently shot in Canada; “1:30 Train”, starring Salma Hayak (“Frida”, “Once upon a Time in Mexico”), directed by Joel Schumacher (“Phantom of the Opera”, “Batman & Robin”) with Academy Award producers, Howard and Karen Baldwin (“Ray”, “Sahara”); and “Mata Hari,” starring Ralph Fiennes, to be shot in Europe. Ms. Pierrepont also helped arranged 100% of the distribution financing and design the national marketing campaign for “Battle In Seattle”, starring Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, & Michelle Rodriguez, directed by Stuart Townsend; and she is helping to arrange co-financing for the up-coming comic book, super-hero tent-pole project, “Tatua”. Her next project, “Book Of Dreams,” won First Prize at the Los Angeles WinFemme Film Festival and selected as a Finalist in the prestigious Sundance Screenplay Competition and at IFFM, the NY Independent Feature Film Market. Currently, as CEO of Pierrepont Productions, she develops and produces commercial content for film, television, DVD’s, games, internet sites and mobile apps, and owns over 100 treatments, scripts, reality shows and project ideas suitable for multi-format exploitation. A sister company, The Pierrepont Literary Group, manages a stable of talented authors and screenwriters and preps their manuscripts for publishing and production. In conjunction with a prominent German film production executive and European Financing entity, she is currently assembling a $150M slate of fully-financed commercial motion pictures with A-list cast and budget ranges from $10M to $65M. In other areas, she served as the Director of Operations for the Southern California Clinton-Gore Campaign and as one of the Co-Chairs in California for the Kerry-Edwards Campaign. Over the years, she has also worked as a major donor fund-raiser in the non-profit world for: The New York Foundation for the Arts, The Artists Rights Foundation, Women In Film, The Independent Feature Project and The Hollywood Creative Coalition. As a student leader, she was one of the five organizers who produced the historic NYC protest rally/concert with James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, etc, w/ over one million attendees. Ms. Pierrepont also designed and produced the acclaimed International Artists Rights Symposium in Hollywood for co-chairmen Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, which was attended by 1000 of the leading film stars, directors, producers, and Ministers of Culture from around the globe. She also designed and produced the high profile John Huston Awards Ceremony. Ms. Pierrepont also served as a Co-Chair of the Women’s Steering Committee of the prestigious Director’s Guild of America.

PERSONAL DATA: Ms. Pierrepont’s formal education included studying Bio-Chemistry at Kings College, University of London, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from New York’s Ithaca College. She was the youngest person ever to publish original research in the American Journal of Bio-Chemistry. Ms. Pierrepont also did field study on global socio-economics and indigenous tribal cultures on a three-year solo journey around the world, through the Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America. She is a member of the prominent New York Pierrepont family, related to such interesting historical and contemporary figures as: President Thomas Jefferson; Supreme Court Chief Justice and President of the Continental Congress John Jay (also co-author of “The Federalist Papers”); NY Governor Peter Styvesant, Financier John Pierpont (JP) Morgan; Queen Mary of France and Scotland, King James V of England; King Fairhar of Norway; William Tapley Bennett III, the US Ambassador to NATO and the US Mission to the United Nations; and William Comfort, Chairman of Citicorp Venture Group. She is married to Michael D. Tiberi of Pasadena, the President and founder of Principia Lightworks, a cutting-edge, water purification laser firm, partnered with Academician Basov, winner of the Nobel Prize for inventing the laser
